I had some time to killl so went for a walk in the park. This place was a total surprise to me! Some great art work in here and also some unusual exhibits and amusing art too. Art works are priced up where they are for sale. An opportunity to buy something original or just to browse!
The Gallery is split between two venues within Southwark park. One is a former church at the bottom edge of the park, while the other is in the centre. The exhibitions are generally linked and change frequently to keep it interesting for regular visitors. Also attended some interesting performance art as park of the various exhibitions.
Great Gallery in a great park. The shows are always interesting covering a range of disciplines and media's. Also the gallery has a out building on the edge of the park which shows installation based works.
Worth a visit . And it's free . Then there is Ada salters rose garden and a cafe nearby.
