We loved this place. The food was amazing (we asked some dishes to share and we did appreciate the fish ones), the wine (Susana) was tasteful and the staff helpful and kind. We do suggest this place.
Really nice decor and style inside. Feels very authentically Portuguese. Unfortunately the food was quite underwhelming. Was excited to try the sardines, given the Portuguese are famous for them. They tasted like they werent fresh at all. Not nice. The king prawns were really nice, and the steak was tasty. Felt a bit like more style over substance.
Little gem hidden behind the street food vans in Flat Iron Square. Tiny interior with space to perch at the bar with a few tables by the window. The food and wine were faultless, even though I was with a group of food experts. Quiet at lunchtime but the staff weren't in a rush to close between lunch and dinner and we had great service.
The port is fantastic, the cheeseboard selection is wonderful and the quality of food is brilliant! Definitely worth visiting! All food is all made to order and is brilliant! Only downside is the seating is on stools and can be a bit uncomfortable for longer meals.. other than that- definitely worth a visit! Highly recommend the 10yr old Tawney they have!
Could not praise this restaurant enough. Yesterday, I went there for dinner, I was absolutely starving but thankfully the service was very quick. If you sit at the bar, you can watch the chefs cook your food right in front of you! All food was cooked to perfection and I love that they switch up the menu. The wine selection is also very very good. This restaurant is perfect to indulge in Portuguese food, I highly recommend!!
