Visited on a Sunday lunchtime with a friend. We sat in a cosy booth slightly away from the main dining area. It was just the right amount of quiet vs music. We ended up staying for hours but the staff left us to it which was nice. We both had the veggie breakfast which was really delicious. Everything was so fresh and well made (I prefer the breakfast here over their other brunch in Kings Cross). They serve Asahi beer which is a real bonus for me. Overall it was a great afternoon and I would definitely come back again to eat/drink, or even treat like a cafe to do some work/reading.
Great restaurant - I like this place, very good selection of beers and varied food (continental style), great music, excellent friendly service. This is quite a big place so normally it is not going to feel overcrowded. The atmosphere inside is fantastic and they also have an outside terrace if you prefer some fresh air. Highly recommended if you are looking to chill out.
Food is great, the staff are friendly & polite. Ambience is nice with quirky music that is not too noisy which is always a plus
The food here is great. To be honest it is worthy of 5 stars but we had a particularly miserable waiter who couldn't even crack a smile. We also had to wait ages between starters and mains, despite it not being particularly busy. All that aside, the food was very good indeed and the place has a great atmosphere.
I went to the refinery with some colleagues after work, good environment and nice beer. Although we only had some sliders they were tasty but I can't rate any higher without sitting down for a meal.
